2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s
The Kalākaua Gardens ‘ohana is a proud Gold Sponsor of the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimerʻs at Ala Moana Regional Park (Magic Island) on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Kalākaua Gardens employees, residents, families and friends will be there for a morning of fun and fellowship as we take brief stroll around Magic Island. The opening ceremony begins at 8:30 am and the walk begins at 9:00 am.

Promise Garden Flower
Each registered participant will receive a Promise Garden flower. Please choose the color that best represents your connection to the disease.

• Blue represents someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.
• Purple is for those who have lost someone to the disease.
• Yellow represents someone who is currently supporting or caring for a person living with Alzheimer’s.
• Orange is for those who support the cause and the Alzheimer’s Association’s vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.For more information about the walk, click here.

Register before October 24, 2025!
A free Kalākaua Gardens t-shirt, bento and bottled water will be given to all walkers who join the Kalākaua Gardens team on the day of the event. Register and complete a standard waiver for the walk by October 24, 2025.
